DRESSES FOR A FULLER BUST
Not having access to clothes that fit a larger D+ cup-size causes a negative impact in a multitude of ways. Repeated experiences of not fitting into garments can cause your self-esteem to plummet, creating massive body insecurities. For years, I struggled with body image issues, feeling like clothes were never made for my bust.
Like something was wrong with my body.
Clothing that pinched my body into unnatural positions. The constant struggle to squeeze my breasts into garments that lack the necessary amount of fabric to provide coverage.
Armholes that dug into my skin, leaving behind painful red marks and chafing. Ill-fitting garments also negatively affected my posture causing painful, crippling lower back problems.
I embarked on years of research, first in retail jobs where I witnessed other women experiencing the same issues that plagued me. I was on mission, trying on thousands of garments, continuously searching for the perfect fit.
When I became a fashion designer, I learned the shocking truth why nothing ever fit my DD-bust!

The majority of garments are never created to fit a fuller bust
The fashion industry fits primarily on a small busted model, typically an A or B-cup. That means if you wear a D-cup or larger, the proportions are wildly different from what you need to fit around your fuller bust!
This also means it's never the fault of your body! The clothes were never made to fit you in the first place.

Our fit is developed on a DD/E-cup and cross-fit on other fuller bust women. The entire bodice is developed differently including: the neckline, armhole shape and placement, waistline placement and how the fabric is shaped around the curvature of the bust.

Classy Fabulous Daydreams as been a fairy tale dream in fashion designer Lea Anderson's mind for years. During the upheaval of 2020, she slowly started putting the pieces together to create her dress line.
Much of the work has been out of her tiny, one-bedroom apartment as she has continued to push towards creating & launching her dream line.
